Mother Nature is a Greco-Roman personification of nature that focuses on the life-giving and nurturing aspects of nature by embodying it, in the form of a mother. Similarly compared to an actual living mother, nature passes on its elements (DNA) to its offspring. Did you know that almost 99% of the mass of the human body is made up of six elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus? Each of these elements have cycles that exist throughout various processes in the land, the atmosphere, the oceans, and the frozen poles.
The human body is an excellent model of the Earth! The human body is primarily made up of salt water, and so is the Earth. The human body is a living system made up of interdependent living systems, and so is the Earth. So, when we consider the human sneeze, which is a sudden, forceful, uncontrolled burst of air through the nose and mouth, caused by irritation to the mucous membranes of the nose or throat, how should we compare it (human sneeze) to the Earth? Is Covid-19 a result of Mother Nature sneezing?
